Touch Football
PLC Sydney offers an IPSHA Touch Football season for Junior School students. Senior School students are provided the opportunity to compete in the IGSA Touch Football season.
PLC Sydney has a long tradition of success in Touch Football with regional and state level representatives guided by coaches with international experience. Experienced players and those new to this sport are welcome to sign up and get involved in this dynamic sport.
Junior School (IPSHA) Overview
Membership: Years 3–6 via tryouts
Cost: $130, this amount will be billed to students’ school fees account
When: Term 3
Trials: A Notice will be sent via PLACES
Training: A weekday after school. More info here once available, a Notice will be sent via PLACES
Game Day: Draws available via the IPSHA app
Saturdays, 1-2 hours between 8.00 am and 12.00 pm, various venues around Sydney, own transport arrangements are to be made and carpooling is a great idea
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to game start time
Sign in via team sheet, at convenors desk, up on arrival. To be eligible to play semis/finals, students must have played at least three games (signed on).
Uniform: Available from the Glencourse Uniform Shop
New PLC Sydney Touch Football uniform:
PLC Sydney sports singlet
PLC Sydney black boy-shorts or PLC Sydney black shorts
Any short socks
No jewellery (including screw-in studs)
No long or sharp fingernails
Equipment:
Football boots with moulded sprigs (not metal) or cross trainers
Water bottle

Senior School (IGSA) Overview
Membership: Years 7–12 via tryouts
Cost: $210, this amount will be billed to students’ school fees account
When: Term 4
Trials: Term 3. More info here once available, a Notice will be sent via PLACES
Training: One weekday before or after school. More info here once available, a Notice will be sent via PLACES
Game Day: Draws available via the Spawtz website
Saturdays, 1-1.5 hours between 8.00 am and 12.00 pm, various venues around Sydney, own transport arrangements are to be made and carpooling is a great idea
If a Frensham team is in your draw, you will have only one weekend where you will be required to travel to Mittagong. Any Frensham team who makes the semi-finals or final will travel to Sydney for these.
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the game start time (top teams might be communicated an earlier warm-up time)
