Startup Club is an after-school co-curricular program for students in Years 7–12 who are curious, creative and motivated to develop a business, startup or social enterprise idea. The club is designed for students who enjoy problem-solving, thinking independently, collaborating with others and learning through real-world challenges, whether or not they yet see themselves as entrepreneurs. The program exists to equip students with practical entrepreneurial skills and support to shape, test and refine an idea into a viable venture that serves others. By the end of Semester 1, students will pitch a business idea to the school community, individually or as a small team.
Students who show outstanding commitment and a strong business concept in Semester 1 may be invited to progress to the Term 3/4 Start Up Accelerator, where industry experts will guide them in developing a functioning online business.
