CIS BASKETBALL PATHWAYS

BASKETBALL NSW PATHWAYS

Membership: Years 3–6 via tryouts

Cost: $130, this will be billed to students’ school fees account.

When: Term 4

Trials: Term 3. A Notice will be sent via PLACES.

Training: One weekday after school.

Year 6 - Tuesday afternoons, Term 4

Year 5 - Thursday afternoons, Term 4

Year 3 to 4 - Friday afternoons, Term 4

Game Days: Draws here once available. A Notice will be sent via PLACES.

Saturdays, 1-1.5 hours between 8.00 am and 12.00 pm, various venues around Sydney, own transport arrangements are to be made
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to game start time
Sign in via team sheet, at convenors desk, up on arrival.

Uniform: Available at the Glencourse Uniform Shop

PLC Sydney reversible singlet. Please hold off on purchasing one of these until teams have been released.
PLC Sydney black PE shorts
PLC Sydney tracksuit (optional). May be worn to and from the venue. The grey zip-up sports top may be worn on Saturdays but only underneath the school tracksuit.
Nails must be short
All players must have a different number from other team members. You may need to change with a friend from another team if there is a clash.

Trials: Term 1. A Notice will be sent via PLACES

Training: weekdays before or after school at PLC Sydney or Concord Oval Recreation Centre. Details will be confirmed after team trials.

Game Days: Draws will be available via the Spawtz website

If a Frensham team is in your draw, you will have only one weekend where you will be required to travel to Mittagong. Any Frensham team who makes the semi-finals or final will travel to Sydney for these.
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the game start time (top teams might be communicated an earlier warm-up time)
Sign in via team sheet, at the convenor's desk, upon arrival. To be eligible to play semis/finals, students must ‎have played at least three games (signed on).‎
