Welcome to the Fitness Centre. Located within the JD Oates Aquatic Centre building, the entrance is conveniently right next to the pool gates.
Whether you're a Senior School student looking to get fit, learn more about health, or just want to improve your athletic performance, the Fitness Centre is the place for you! We offer a variety of programs during different opening hours, so make sure to check the notice board in the weights room for the latest details.
Our amazing Fitness Centre Staff bring a wealth of knowledge with backgrounds in Exercise Science. They offer expert advice on injury prevention, exercise programming, and how to take your athletic performance to the next level. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to improve.
Join us during these supervised hours:
Mornings: 6:00am – 8.00am (Monday - Friday)
Lunchtimes: 12:30pm – 1:20pm (Monday - Friday)
Afternoons: 3:05pm – 5:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Please wear PLC Sydney Sport uniform. School uniforms cannot be worn in the Fitness Centre.
Students can use the changing rooms in the pool area before and after their workout.
To maintain high health standards, no food is permitted in the Fitness Centre.
For hygiene reasons, we recommend bringing a small sweat towel to use during your workouot.
A brand new water dispenser is available in the Fitness Centre to fill or refill your drink bottles.
If you need a specific exercise program, such as for injury rehabilitation, please speak with Jason Howell, Director of Strength and Conditioning, before you begin your training.
