PERFORMING ARTS
Pipes & Drums
The Pipes and Drums program is one of the few all-girl pipe bands in Australia. The College Pipes and Drums are highly active throughout the year performing as solo pipers and as a band at approximately 30 events each year. The Pipes and Drums hold a very special place in the community, representing the College in the Sydney ANZAC Day march, at Celtic festivals and at pipe band competitions throughout NSW. There is the opportunity to tour with the Pipes and Drums.
Membership: Years 3–12
Cost: $150 per term tuition fee (Senior School only) plus $150 per year for instrument hire and maintenance. The instrument hire fee is waived for students with their own instruments.
There is no cost for participating in the Pipes and Drums for rehearsals and performances, but it is expected the students will be having individual lessons.
