CLUBS

Franklings: Classics

In Franklings: Classics students enjoy explorations of great literature with like-minded peers. Students read and discuss classical literature, which has survived the test of time because it is always beautiful, wise and interesting. By reading and discussing modern and historical classics, students share their love of reading, gain insight into different times and spaces, and develop their thinking and general knowledge. All Senior School students are welcome.

Franklings: Classics is part of the Interschool Book Club with Trinity Grammar School, Meriden School and Newington College. The Interschool Book Club meets once a term after school. This activity is voluntary for the Classics Book Club and Macindoe Book Club members in Years 8 to 11. Other students are invited to sign up for the Interschool Book Club, but places are limited, and priority is given to Book Club members.
