PLC Sydney offers diving lessons to both PLC Sydney and external students, catering to beginners through to advanced divers during school terms and school holidays. Classes are held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The PLC Sydney Diving Club is affiliated with NSW Diving and Diving Australia. Divers may register as recreational or competitive, allowing them to compete in sanctioned competitions at regional, state, national, and international levels.
The PLC Sydney Hamilton and Senior Swimming and Diving Carnivals are held in Term 1. From these carnivals, students may be selected to compete in IPSHA and IGSA Swimming and Diving Carnivals.
Membership: Years 3–12 (and Year 2 students via selection). Divers not already affiliated with a diving club are encouraged to become part of the PLC Sydney Diving Club.
Cost: Dive lessons, entry to the pool and transport costs are determined on a term by term basis.
Lessons - Term fees are worked out on the scheduled number of lessons per term at $40 per lesson and $32.50 per lesson for Saturday beginner divers. Payment can be made via Direct Debit or Credit Card upon sign up.
When: Terms 1–4
Training: Pool sessions are held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC). Dryland sessions are held at PLC Sydney. Transport is available for students traveling to SOPAC every day except Saturdays.

Monday–Thursday: 5.30–7.30 pm (beginners, intermediate and competitive)
Saturday Beginners: 12.00–1.30 pm
Saturday Intermediate: 12.00–2.00 pm
Saturday Senior Competitive: 1.30–3.30 pm
Monday Senior Dryland: 6.45–8.00 am
Thursday Junior Dryland: 12.45–1.15 pm
Uniform: PLC Sydney swimsuit and sports uniform
