CLUBS

Franklings: Project ( formerly Classical Literature Enrichment)

Senior school students can unite their interests in literature, peer discussion and their love of writing through the Franklings: Project opportunity. This new club is a project-based activity where students participate in at least one other Franklings option every week (Classics Book Club or Writing) with a view to shaping their own independent literary research project. They will prepare a composition that might be digital, essay-based, or a work of creative fiction. Students will be mentored through the process of creating their own project and assisted in developing skills in research and critical thinking, creative writing, and editing, as they work towards preparing their project for publication. Additional workshops and individual consultations will be organised in consultation with students.

There will also be the opportunity to participate in digital storytelling and other specialised workshops. This is an exciting opportunity for all students who are passionate about writing, ideas, or reading, and for those seeking a new creative challenge.
