Informatics Olympiad Training 

Informatics Olympiad Training enables students to develop the ability to create computer programs to solve problems of a mathematical nature, such as finding the shortest path between two points in a network, the number of ways of combining elements in a chemical equation, or the optimum seating arrangement given certain restrictions. 

It is very challenging and offers a progression path that can end in representing Australia at the annual International Olympiad of Informatics. We are fortunate to have the coaching services of Angeni Bai, a recent graduate of PLC Sydney who was selected for a national Informatics training camp when she concluded Year 10. 

This activity is suitable for students with great interest in Mathematics and Computer Science.

NB Competitions are in June (UNSW ProgComp) and August (Australian Informatics Olympiad). Participation in free, online competitions are encouraged.
