CLUBS

Franklings: Writing

Franklins: Writing is a writers group open to all students who have a passion for creative and non-fictional writing or for those who wish to enhance their technical skills, confidence, and precision as writers. Students will work closely with a creative writing lecturer Dr Dave Drayton, through a series of workshops aimed at developing an understanding of narrative, point of view, and character, as well as learning to write for a particular audience. They will experiment with form and style, with a view to writing persuasively, entertaining or engaging their reader through imaginative writing.
