Hamilton Strings
Hamilton Strings is the leading string group in the Junior School. Rehearsals are mandatory and repertoire is chosen to suit the ensemble. Pieces can range from classical to modern and the group reaches a high level of performance. The 2014 Hamilton Strings ensemble won the Primary School acoustic section of the City of Sydney Eisteddfod.
Membership: Students are selected from Junior Orchestra who have shown a commitment to their learning and for their overall ability on an instrument. All students must learn privately.
Cost: NIL
When: Terms 1–4, Thursdays 7.30 am and Wednesday lunchtimes
