SPORT
Badminton
Badminton is a fun and rapidly growing sport in New South Wales.
PLC Sydney Senior School students have the opportunity to compete in the Harden Classic Competition and the IGSA Badminton Competition.
The Harden Classic is named after our retired Head of Sport, Ms Belinda Harden, who started Badminton at PLC Sydney back in 2009. This is a PLC Sydney only competition that will see our top Year 7, Junior and Senior Badminton players play off against each other to find their Champion towards the end of the season.
The IGSA Badminton Competition is our main competition held in Term 1 and played across the Sydney region.
The Meriden Competition is by invitation only, for Year 6-12's on Friday nights in Term 3. Those who participated in the Term 1 IGSA competition may sign up for this. There is no training offered for this competition.
