Drama
The PLC Sydney Futures Centre offers two Drama programs for students. The theme for the classes changes each term. It may be focused on Impro one term, mime for another term, or creating a play in the next. The children will be introduced to theatrical techniques to assist the action, their characters, emotions without using words, through gestures, facial expressions, and movement. We will continue our exploration of voice and imagination through drama games/exercises to encourage a well-rounded skill set for the girls when performing. The term culminates in a class performance for their final week.
Membership: Kindergarten–Year 2 and Years 3-6
Cost: $400.00 per term
When:
Kindergarten–Year 2: Terms 1–4, Mondays or Thursdays *3.15–4.30 pm (8 weeks)
Years 3–6: Terms 1–4, Tuesdays or Wednesdays *3.15-4.45 pm (8 weeks)
* K-Year 2 students will be collected from Evandale and Year 3-6 students from the steps of Shubra Hall at 3.10 pm for a 3.15 pm start and returned to the roundabout at the end of the class.
