Co-curricular Dance started at PLC Sydney in 2019 and offers students a chance to participate in healthy physical activity. It differs from curriculum Dance (PDHPE) in its focus on skill development, rather than dance analysis and composition. Its primary focus is to build a love of dance. Dance classes will be targeted at the following areas:
Skill development
Performance skills
Production
This is a year long commitment and will be focusing on a few main performances throughout the year such as:
Wakakirri Performing Arts Challenge
Open Day and Fair
PLC Sydney Tattoo
Students can become involved in co-curricular Dance through participation in Junior School Dance Troupe or Senior School Dance Troupe. More information below.
