PERFORMING ARTS
Private Music Tuition
Students excel under a group of professional musicians who tutor students and nurture their learning. Students develop specific skills that enable them to perform individually and in ensembles.
Private Music Tuition is available to all interested students at PLC Sydney from Kindergarten to Year 12. Tuition requires a serious commitment and means students must commit to one full semester (15 weeks of the year). A full semester must be paid for by the end of the 4th week of the semester. If a student decides to quit mid-semester the payment for the semester will not be refunded. If a student decides to quit going into Semester 2 they must give the teacher 4 weeks notice. If 4 weeks is not given then they must pay for 4 weeks worth of lessons. The College offers PLC Sydney and external students a vast array of instrumental tuition as well as alternate courses in musicianship, theory and composition.
As this is a private arrangement, music lessons will not be listed on senior school reports as a co-curricular activity.
Please note: Junior School lessons are held during the school day. If lessons outside of school hours are available, the parent is responsible for taking the students to and from the lessons.
